Speed Sensor Signal Check

  1. 1
    Remove speed sensor from transmission. Location: Refer to "Location of Electrical Units".
    Speed sensor and speed sensor pinion with voltmeter connected across terminals (a) and (b), measuring approx. 0.5V alternating current (A.C.)

    Turn speedometer pinion quickly and measure voltage across (a) and (b). Expected reading: Approx. 0.5V [Alternating current (A.C.)]
