Rear Axle and Rear Suspension Parts

Check axle and suspension parts for looseness, wear or damage.

Rear Axle and Rear Suspension Parts Inspection

  1. 1
    Shake each rear wheel.

    Retighten all nuts and bolts to the specified torque. Tightening torque: Refer to pages RA-4, 19.

    Make sure that cotter pin is inserted.

    Check rear axle and rear suspension parts for wear, cracks or other damage.

    Check shock absorber for oil leakage or other damage.
