Install ring C with suitable tool.
Install seat, spring, spring cover and ring B with suitable press and drift.

INSPECTION OF BRAKE DRAG FORCE
Rear-brake drag force inspection
- 1Swing cylinder body upward.
- 2Make sure that wheel bearing is adjusted properly. Refer to section RA.
- 3Measure rotating force (F₁).
SBR227A - 4Install caliper with pads to original position.
- 5Depress brake pedal for 5 seconds.
- 6Release brake pedal, rotate disc rotor 10 revolutions.
- 7Measure rotating force (F₂).
SBR018A - 8Calculate brake drag force by subtracting F₁ from F₂. If it is not within specification, check pins and pin boots in caliper.
