Reconnect push control unit and mode door motor harness connectors.

[D] CHECK FOR OUTPUT OF PUSH CONTROL UNIT. Do approx. 12 volts exist between push control unit harness terminal No. 7 and No. 8 when mode is switched from "VENT" to "DEF" or when mode is switched from "DEF" to "VENT"?
